Kalamazoo, MI — May 22, 2024 — Aldevra was awarded one of the ten coveted contracts by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for Construction Management Services (CMS). This significant contract, valued up to $240 million over five years, is part of a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) pool aimed at supporting various Civil Works projects within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD).

Under this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, Aldevra will provide comprehensive construction management services including on-site inspection, quality assurance, safety oversight, and technical support across multiple engineering disciplines. This award highlights Aldevra’s commitment to excellence and its capability to deliver high-quality professional, administrative, and management services.

“We are thrilled to have been selected by the US Army Corps of Engineers for this prestigious contract,” said Rodney Marshall, president and CEO of Aldevra. “Four years ago, the Louisiana National Guard gave us the opportunity to provide construction management services. We are deeply grateful to the contracting office for their belief in us and to our incredible employees who persevered through COVID, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

This award allows us to build on that past performance here at home in the Great Lakes State, supporting the USACE LRD mission to deliver essential public and military engineering services, enhance national security, energize the economy, and reduce disaster risks. While we are well-known for our foodservice equipment division, our professional services team has been diligently building a pipeline of opportunities like this, and it’s rewarding to see their efforts come to fruition. We are honored to contribute to our country and community through this contract.”

The Great Lakes and Ohio River Division of the USACE is dedicated to delivering vital engineering solutions in collaboration with partners to secure the nation, energize the economy, and reduce disaster risk. The division oversees a vast area encompassing 355,300 square miles across 17 states, serving a population of over 58 million people. Key responsibilities include maintaining navigable waterways, protecting shorelines, operating hydropower plants, and responding to emergencies.
