The Lorenzo Donnell Marshall Scholarship is designed to provide financial support to high school seniors who demonstrate promise both academically and athletically. This scholarship aims to honor Lorenzo Donnell Marshall by offering students an extra boost as they continue their education, whether at a college or trade school.
Aldevra proudly sponsors the Lorenzo Marshall Scholarship as a tribute to the late Lorenzo Donnell Marshall, brother of Aldevra’s owner, Rodney Marshall. Lorenzo was a role model and standout athlete at Battle Creek Central High School, Class of 1989, where he excelled in Track & Field, setting numerous records. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he and his brother Rodney proudly served together
Application period opens on October 19 (Lorenzo’s birthday) and closes on February 7 (2/7 was the US Marine Corps Unit they served in) each year.
Applicants will submit a 30-second video explaining why they should be chosen as the scholarship recipient. Here is the link to upload the video: Scholarship Video Upload
The scholarship provides an initial $500 payment two weeks before the first semester starts.
An additional $500 is awarded upon proof of maintaining a 2.0 GPA or higher during the previous full-time semester for up to 4 semesters.
Recipients may receive up to a total of $2,500, with no restrictions on how the funds can be used.

Established in honor of Mr. Rodney Marshall’s (Aldevra President & CEO) late brother, Lorenzo Marshall, this scholarship aims to support young talents like Walker, enabling them to pursue their dreams without financial barriers.
